Who is Laszlo Katona

Laszlo Katona is a Canadian creative "World Builder", film sculptor, artist, entrepreneur, and renovation specialist whose career spans more than three decades across construction, film, fine art, and design. He was sponsored to attend Vancouver Film School by Frank Giustra, Graduated as an Art Director and went on to work in the motion picture industry as a sculptor, Scenic  Builder, and Art Department.

Over the years, Laszlo has contributed to major productions including Chronicles of Riddick, Fantastic 4, Night at the Museum, Altered Carbon, Christmas Chronicles 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Watchmen, creating large-scale sculptures, environments, props, specialty set pieces and set Building.

Beyond film, Laszlo built a reputation as a fine artist known for expressive paintings, sculpture, and mixed-media works including is colourful "Smelly Katz".  His artwork and Sculptures has been featured publicly and profiled internationally for its distinctive style and creative approach. 

As an entrepreneur, Laszlo appeared on the Canadian television series Dragons' Den with the Stop Sugar Craving Concept, securing investment interest and gaining national exposure. His journey through business, creativity, and resilience continues to inspire many entrepreneurs and creators. In 2005 after viewing Reality T.V. Craze of home improvement shows , Laszlo Renovated the Royal Towers Hotel in New Westminster B.C. and filmed his first of many Youtube Renovation Redo show called "The Reno Raiders" which later became the premise for "The Ultimate Handyman Shows"

Today, Laszlo is the founder of WestCoast Spaces, where he combines craftsmanship, artistic vision, and storytelling to create renovations, theme rooms, custom environments, and creative spaces. His philosophy is simple:
